Ting ting wong
Pianist Ting Ting Wong is a vocal coach and collaborative pianist in the Philadelphia area. She is currently an adjunct faculty at The Curtis Institute of Music, staff accompanist for The Academy of Vocal Arts, and collaborative pianist for the Mendelssohn Chorus of Philadelphia. She regularly coaches singers at Haverford College, Bryn Mawr College, and maintains a flourishing private coaching studio. She has been a member of music staff with Opera Philadelphia, Opera Theater of Pittsburgh, Castleton Festival, and assistant conductor with ConcertOPERA Philadelphia.
Ms. Wong made debuts at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in 2016 and with IlluminArts in Miami in 2019. Recently, she was a member of music staff for the Princeton Festival 2022, served as faculty at The Mediterranean Opera Studio Festival in Italy, as well as associate pianist for Opera Philadelphia’s O22 production of Rossini’s Otello. With Curtis Institute on Tour, Ms. Wong toured nationally with the talented students and renowned bass-baritone Eric Owens.
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Ms. Wong holds a master’s degree in piano performance from Carnegie Mellon University, where she also earned a piano pedagogy certificate; and a master’s degree in piano accompanying and coaching from Temple University, where she studied with Lambert Orkis and Charles Abramovic.
