2016-17 season

Variant 6's second season brought about its first commission, a work for harp and sextet by Philadelphia singer-songwriter Andrew Lipke; premieres of Gabriel Jackson and Joanne Metcalf; collaborations with Arcana New Music Ensemble, Prometheus Chamber Orchestra, Matthew Glandorf, and the University of Pennsylvania composition department;  educational outreach at schools in Pennsylvania and Maryland.
